Gulf British Academy (GBA) opened its doors in September 2005 and quickly established itself as one of Kuwait’s top independent co-educational schools for pupils from Foundation to Year 10.

GBA is a friendly school where all children are valued as individuals and parents welcomed as partners in their child’s education.

We place emphasis on academic success and embrace Islamic culture and values while also encouraging pupils to take part in as many different school activities as possible.

We strive to inspire and empower our pupils to think creatively and critically, pursue lifelong learning, and contribute positively to their local and global community.

We also understand that choosing a school is one of the most important decisions parents make for their child, so we want you to feel confident that you have made an informed choice.

Our Motto

Grow, Build, Achieve.

Our School Vision

To unite the best of British education with the best of Kuwaiti culture.

Our Mission

Our aim is to provide a quality experience in all aspects of school life, enabling our pupils to be happy, successful and keen to learn. With these objectives we pledge that each child will develop into an independent member of the international community.

  • We believe that children should develop a happy way of being together, that their self-respect leads to a respect for the rights and needs of other children and adults from their own culture and other cultures, and for the opposite gender.
  • We aim to educate the child by presenting a whole experience that is right and relevant to their individuality, thereby fostering the child’s intellectual, physical, cultural, moral and spiritual development.
  • We recognise that change and progress are an important part of everyday life and therefore aim to equip children to cope and flourish in dealing with the challenges faced by such changes.
  • We aim to teach a broad and balanced British-based curriculum through careful planning followed by an assessment of the pupil’s progress. We also provide time for reflection and evaluation by the teaching staff.

We truly believe that tomorrow’s world is in today’s classroom and will put your child first and always. Read more about our Ethos and Values.
