The art room is fully equipped, enabling pupils to express their creativity and imagination using a wide range of materials and resources. Pupils learn various techniques of drawing, painting, sculpture, and other mediums necessary for their creative development.

The cinema has been installed to provide pupils with the space and atmosphere to relax and be entertained. With a full surround sound system and high quality screen it is perfect for screening programmes ranging from educational documentaries to the latest blockbuster movies. Each cinema seat is also equipped with a writing desk meaning that this facility is a great location for learning to take place outsdie of the classroom.

Our classrooms are light and airy and are both well-equipped and well-resourced for teaching and learning. This includes the use of interactive smart board touch screens in every classroom, a teacher terminal and plenty of storage. Inside and outside the classrooms you’ll see welcoming and creative displays of individual and team-based student work.

The school clinic is equipped to deal with all minor and initial emergency concerns that arise at school. A pupil who becomes ill during the school day will report to the clinic where the severity of the injury or illness will be assessed and, if necessary, a parent will be contacted.

The main entrance (Gate 3) leads to our welcoming foyer. You will be warmly greeted by our reception staff who will help you with your enquiries. Seating is provided as is disabled access via our motorised wheelchair platform. Please note: for safeguarding purposes, all visitors must sign in and be given a visitors badge, even if your child already attends the school.

We have several multipurpose halls and common areas. These include a main hall with wooden laminate flooring that is used for conferences and dining as well presentations and workshops. Two other halls, are used for sporting activities and these are complemented with various well-lit common areas.

The two dedicated ICT suites provide networked computers so that each pupil and the teacher has their own machine. The computers are networked, enabling data files to be accessed from anywhere in the school and learning programs to be hosted centrally from the curriculum server. Access to the Internet is firewalled and monitored closely by the IT team and teaching staff. Alongside wide-ranging ICT lessons, children are taught how to use the Internet responsibly and safely.

The library is well-stocked with a comfortable and inclusive environment where each child is encouraged to develop a love of reading. Our librarian not only ensures that our books are kept up-to-date, but also provides reading and topic support to the pupils as well as teaching them how to use the library effectively.

We believe that it is important for all pupils to have positive play experiences each day. So at break times they have access to a range of supervised activities as well as seating areas. The quad areas have direct access to the clinic and washrooms.

Our rooftop artificial turf pitch and hard courts for volleyball and basektball are perfect for in-school and after-school sporting activities. They are equipped with floodlighting, high-fences and drinking water points for hot summer days. They provide the perfect spaces for outdoor learning and are regularly used for inter-house competitions as well as lessons and break times across our year groups.

Our purpose-built science labs for KS2 and Secondary are modern, well-ventilated and updated at regular intervals. They provide the perfect environment for young scientific minds to experience and perform stimulating hands-on experiments in safety. Digital measuring instruments, microscopes, kits, models, and other necessary apparatus are provided. Under the assistance of our teachers and lab-assistants, students can perform a wide array of experiments to strengthen their scientific, investigative and reasoning skills.

We are fortunate to have our own 5-lane swimming 25 metre swimming pool. Separate changing rooms are provided along with private purpose-built shower rooms. From learning to swim to inter-house competitions, we are fully-equipped.

Our large purpose-built theatre, complete with screen and stage area can seat up to 400 attendees and is host to our annual theatre productions and award ceremonies. It’s also used for conferences, displays, theme-week presentations and our workshops, which are frequently held for staff, pupils and parents. It’s furnished with a dedicated AV room for controlling the modern high-quality LED screen and the sophisticated stage lighting and sound system. Wireless microphones and tablet control of the audio and lighting are available too.
