Year 1 pupils have been working very hard in class recently, so yesterday they had the chance to go a bit wild at soft-play venue ‘Play’ in the Promenade Mall.
The venue is a multilevel soft-play complex, which gave our children the freedom to climb, jump, play, run, slide, swing and more for almost two hours – fun yet exhausting. (the school photographer can vouch for that too!).
Children enjoyed sharing the soft-play experiences with their classmates and friends from across Year 1. Indeed, the fun environment was ideal for physical exercise as well as enhancing a child’s motor skills and creativity, whereas the safe and secure surroundings were a motivator for developing social kills and confidence.
All in all, a really active day that hopefully meant a good night’s sleep for all children, which in-turn is essential for memory, learning and general brain development.
