Pre-KG and KG parents were invited to school this week to watch their children perform in their Year level Productions. The productions ran from Tuesday to today and marked the end of a busy and eventful school year for our youngest children.
The School Hall was a hive of activity, with bees in their bright yellow and black costumes, buzzing from every corner along with other garden creatures in a beautiful garden setting.
All our young children actively participated in their rendering and buzzing performance of Billy No Buzz!

This delightful musical story had a big message for our young children and also echoed our school values of trust, respect, empathy and passion.
Tolerance and acceptance of others who may be different to ourselves highlighted the theme of the story.
The story’s main character, Billy Bee, is rejected by other bees because he can’t buzz. As the story unfolds, all the bees see that he can do the same things as they can. He is eventually accepted for being himself.
The children understood that they are all different and, no matter what, it really is easy to be friends and work together.
To the delight of their parents, the children were really being themselves as they presented the story. A fitting end to their school year.
